We believe what you wear should do more than simply look good. It should have a purpose, perform when it matters and become part of the way you move. NAME, BRAND & LEGACY
The name Everest Active is inspired by Mount Everest—the world's highest mountain and a powerful symbol of ambition, resilience and human endeavour. But Everest Active is not simply about a mountain. It is about what the mountain represents. Our story begins in the foothills of the Himalayas, where our founder, Sudarsan Rijal, was born and raised beneath the world's highest peaks. Growing up close to the mountains created a lasting connection with discipline, patience, resilience, respect for nature and the determination to keep moving forward. When Sudarsan later moved to Australia, that perspective became the foundation for Everest Active. Melbourne became the place where the vision took shape, bringing together a mountain-born perspective with contemporary Australian design and a modern approach to performance. The result is a brand with its roots in the Himalayas, its home in Melbourne and its ambitions beyond borders. We are building Everest Active for the long term—not simply for a season or a trend, but with the ambition to create something that can stand the test of time. Legacy is not something we claim. It is something we intend to earn.

OUR FOUNDER
Founded by Sudarsan Rijal
Sudarsan Rijal was born in the foothills of the Himalayas, beneath the world's highest mountain. From an early age, the mountains were part of his surroundings and, over time, became part of his perspective. Growing up beneath Mount Everest created a lasting understanding of discipline, patience and perseverance. The mountain was a constant reminder that meaningful achievements are built through preparation, effort and the willingness to continue when the journey becomes difficult. After moving from Nepal to Australia, Sudarsan began developing the idea that would become Everest Active The vision was not simply to create another activewear brand, but to build a performance lifestyle brand with purpose at its centre where design has a reason, function matters and quality is taken seriously. Melbourne became the home of that vision. Designed & engineered in Melbourne, Australia, Everest Active brings together the resilience inspired by the mountains with contemporary Australian design and a modern approach to performance. Every product begins with a simple question: Does it have a purpose? From there, we consider how it looks, how it feels, how it performs and how it becomes part of the life of the person wearing it. For Sudarsan, Everest Active™ is more than a business. It is a connection between where the journey began and where it can go next a tribute to the mountains that shaped his early life and a commitment to building something with a future beyond its founder.
